Michael has over 25 years’ experience of financial management and fundraising within the voluntary and public sectors. He has expertise in: business planning and finance management within the not for profit sector, is a licensed Community Shares Practitioner, and has secured seed corn investment and funding for social enterprises. He has an excellent track record of helping voluntary sector organisations secure contract and grant funding as well as developing innovative fundraising strategies and appeals. Michael is a volunteer director of MaidEnergy and SaveEnergy, has worked with Reading Hydro, and is passionate about enabling new carbon reduction solutions.

Maria Evans, Associate
Maria is an experienced and ethics-driven charity consultant offering an innovative approach, creativity and a friendly working style for a wide range of clients. Over the last 25 years Maria has launched and grown new organisations, helped existing organisations become more sustainable, developed business and funding strategies and delivered hands-on marketing, community consultation and evaluation projects. Significant fundraising successes, from grant awards to community investment in the arts and heritage, environment, youth and climate sectors, continue to help organisations to thrive. Maria is a founding director of SaveEnergy, focused on decarbonising homes; and volunteer and co-founder of her local Climate Emergency Coalition, bringing people together and enabling action to address climate change.

Niki Vail, Associate
Niki is a highly organised manager of projects large and small, with skills honed over 25 years spanning large organisations, central government and the not-for-profit sector, with a couple of home improvement projects along the way. Her expertise includes strategic, market & financial analysis, modelling, business planning, project, programme & change management. She is passionate about supporting organisations to plan and deliver their goals, with proportionate support provided along the way. Niki provides voluntary literacy support at a local school, and on-line through the charity Bookmark

Louise Griffin, Associate
Louise has worked in the charitable sector in the UK and California for 25+ years. With experience in a range of areas including homelessness, addiction, sport and Christian outreach programmes, she brings a knowledgeable and personable approach to her consultancy work.
Based in Maidenhead, Louise is a storyteller, finding the powerful narrative in an organisation to grow and strengthen it. Her work focuses on supporting smaller, less resourced charities. She has experience with grant assessment and management, trusteeship and governance, bid writing and creating content, corporate partnerships, donation campaigns and strategies. She is an engaging public speaker and enjoys being the advocate for those in need.
Gina Marshall, Operations and Finance
Gina has over 25 years of accountancy and bookkeeping experience working with businesses using her outstanding financial and organisational skills. She is a Fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and in particular loves helping small businesses to thrive. Away from her desk Gina is kept busy by her four children and playing netball and tennis.
